CRAFTSMAN MARINE diesel engines are based on rugged and reliable Mitsubishi industrial engines, converted by craftsman to top quality marine diesels. An efficient dual cooling circuit and a high-up position of the alternator (far away from any bilge water) are a few of the hallmarks of these outstanding engines.
The Engine prices below are guide prices only. A survey of the boat is required before a firm quotation can be given. The guide prices below include all material and labour costs to install the stated engine model, except Saildrive and Bobtail versions which exclude any installation costs. The prices below assume that all existing fittings will be used i.e. shaft, propeller, throttles, filters, strainers, batteries, exhaust system etc. These prices exclude any associated boat lifting. They also assume adequate access to all areas of the boat.
