At HYS we are proud to offer a service that is unique. Drysailing at HYS is fast, efficient with competitive costs. Drysailing is ideal for racing yachts or powerboats, where the condition of the hull surface is important. We offer a yardspace contract for your yacht or powerboat to have it lifted or launched to suit your requirements.


Dry Stacking

Hamble Yacht Services now offer dry stacking facilities for ribs and small day boats up to 12 meters.

Located in the heart of the UK's boating centre at Port Hamble on the River Hamble, owners can now access all the benefits dry stacking provides from a fantastic location.

HYS is the UK's leading all service boat yard with a reputation built on first class service.

HYS Dry Stacking is a service suited to the rib and sports boat owner who is seeking an alternative solution to the increasing costs, depreciation and maintenance work needed when using a water berth.

Through HYS Dry Stacking you can be assured that your craft will have a clean hull as lifting and retrieval take place within an hour of a request, therefore, time needed for maintenance and antifouling will be reduced; lowering costs.

With HYS Dry Stacking a craft will be stored at the prime River Hamble location, with quick access to boating in the Solent. Your boat will be ready to use when you want it, through a seven day a week service.

An HYS Dry Stacking annual contract will include storage, unlimited launches and recoveries.

Boat Lifting & Storage

Our Travelhoists can lift out most yachts up to around 90' for repairs, refits or storage ashore. Three Hoists are in service to accommodate all lifting up to 80tons with a 22’ Beam.

Our flexible schedule will assist your scheduling requirements and with our competitive rates and professionally trained staff, you’d be hard pushed to find another company that allows you to benefit from all three.

Pontoon Berthing

Pontoon Berthing gives you fast access to the Solent at all states of the tide throughout the week. If you would like deep water berthing alongside our own pontoon then talk to our Berthing Masters.
